St Nazaire’s Jaunais Beach is located on the limit of Pornichet and the beach of Ste-Marguerite. The main part of this sandy beach is supervised in the summer season and is very family orientated (Be careful, the main part that is supervised is not naturist).
From this beach via the coastal footpath on the left towards the semaphore, there are several small naturist coves (nudism is allowed by local laws). Access is quite difficult (very steep stairs). Depending on the tide, space on the sand can be very limited. When swimming, you must be careful because of the presence of many rocks.
The easiest way to get to this beach is from Pornichet and head towards St-Nazaire by the coastal road (by the avenues of Bonne Source, Littoral and Ocean). After the sign indicating for the entrance to St-Nazaire, you will find a carpark on the left parking (a second largest one, with an area for camping cars, is available 100 meters away). Access to the beach is opposite. For naturists areas, you must go on the left via the coastal path. Before the semaphore, there are concrete stairs that provide access to the cove.
