Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez’ Salins Beach is reserved for naturists. Located in a totally untamed area and bordered by dunes, access, compared to other beaches of St Hilaire, is more difficult (you have to cross a dune, about 5 minutes’ walk). This is the northern part, which is the busiest because to the south there is an area to practice kitesurfing. In the summer season, the beach has a lifeguard station in case of problems.
To get to this beach from the centre of St Jean de Monts, take the D113 towards Saint Gilles Croix de Vie. Opposite the holiday centre of the city of Aubervilliers, a sign indicates the access to the beach. Free parking.
