Trousse Chemise Beach is located south of Portes en Ré in the forest of the same name. This beach is directly opposite the bench of Bucheron (sandbar at low tide), which is nice to wander around at low tide (but caution, as the sea rises rapidly and currents are very strong). One can also practice kite surfing. The beach is very popular, it is one of the most beautiful in this part of the island of Ré. Access is through the forest.
To reach this beach from the center of Portes en Ré, follow the signs indicating Patache. 2 km after the campsite of Providence, turn left (sign indicating the beach). There is a car park in the forest.
