Beaches in Les Portes-en-Ré (17880) France - advise, map and photos

The village of Portes-en-Ré, located northeast of the island of Ré, is called "the end of the island." This is one of the chic villages of the island and it is located directly opposite the Breton Pertuis on the Vendée coast.

There are a dozen of beaches in Portes en Ré. South of the village, Trousse Chemise Beach offers a beautiful stretch of sand at low tide, which is complemented by the bench of Bucheron (sandbar discovered at low tide where one can wander around on foot or to practice kite surf.
