Redoute Beach (or Chapelle Beach) is located east of Portes en Ré, opposite the Breton Pertuis Sea. Bordered by beautiful dunes, it is only possible to swim at high tide (the sea withdraws far away). The environment is very pleasant and the sand very fine.
Note that on the beachfront, there is a chapel built on the dunes.
To reach this beach, follow the D101. Go past the campsite of Providence and continue for 150 meters. The beach access is on the left (small car park) and the stairs of the chapel are visible from the road.
