Saucière Beach in Portes en Ré is located north of the island of Ré at the edge of the forest of Lizay. It stretches about 800 meters towards the tip of Lizay. There are rocks in the water, which makes it impossible to swim at low tide. Attendance is very low when deviating towards the tip.
To reach this beach from the center of Portes en Ré, take route des Morines. The beach access is at the end. There is no car park; one has to come by bike.
