Our opinion on the 5 Pineaux Beach
St Hilaire’ 5 Pineaux Beach is between Sion sur l’Ocean and St Gilles Croix de Vie along the Corniche and Jean Yole promenade. This sandy beach stretches for about 150 meters from the rocks of the Corniche. At low tide, there is a pool to the delight of the children. We can also come here to do some fishing. Note that the beach is supervised in the summer season. Parking is difficult.

At the end of the Jean Yole promenade, just before Saint Hilaire’s Corniche where you can reach the beaches of St Gilles Croix de Vie, we find a nice small sandy cove set between the rocks.
At high tide, the beach is very small. At low tide, a pool allows children to swim safely.
Along the beach, there is a pedestrian promenade which enables you to reach the beach of Sion. In the background, you can see the long sandy beaches of St Jean de Monts and St Hilaire.
