Our opinion on the Mouettes Beach
South of Saint Hilaire de Riez, we find Mouettes Beach near the Marines residential area. Bordered by many seasonal residences and campsites, this beach has the advantage of having shops nearby while finding a naturally protected environment away from the main area (mainly to the south where there are beautiful dunes). To the north, it joins the Bec Beach. This beach is supervised in the summer season and is equipped for people with reduced mobility.
To get to this beach from the centre of St Jean de Monts, take the road south to Sion sur Ocean by the D123. At the “Mouettes” roundabout, turn right (the beach is indicated and there is free parking on the seafront).
