Petit Pont Beach in Brétignolles sur Mer is one of the most beautiful naturist beaches in Vendee. It is located between Brétignolles and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie as an extension of Great Beach. This unfamiliar square is totally wild with an expanded dune area, and remained in its natural state (there are no buildings nearby). The size of the beach makes it easy to find space even in summer. Please note that the area is not monitored.

The dune at the top of the beach is private property and a natural area very sensitive to erosion by trampling too; please do not venture even when windy. This rare and fragile dune area has received European recognition and was ranked Natura 2000 site: future developments will allow everyone to enjoy the site while protecting it.

To get to this beach from Brétignolles-sur-Mer, go north by the Corniche road and the D38 (Grande Sauzaie Street). Cross the hamlet of Petit-Pont 2 km after Sauzaie Beach (Petit Pont restaurant is on the left) and turn left. Stay on this road for 200 meters and park in the car park. Trails lead to the beach in less than 10 minutes (about 500 meters on foot).

Petit Pont Beach in Brétignolles sur Mer is beautiful and bordered by an impressive dune. It is located on a private property and is currently not fenced. The white dune where many people hide is an area very sensitive to trampling; it vegetates and erodes itself because of the attendance (wild trails and erosion are visible in aerial view). The white dune will be fully fenced in the future, as part of the Natura 2000 site management plan. One can see in the distance the great beach of Saint Gilles Croix de Vie.
