Our opinion on the Oiseaux Beach
Saint Jean de Monts’ Oiseaux Beach is the most central beach of the resort. It stretches along the promenade, around the convention centre and the aquatic centre Océabul. It is a fine white sandy beach. It is supervised in the summer season and there are several beach bars on the sand. Some areas are adapted for people with reduced mobility. It is also called Demoiselles Beach.
The beach is nice but, in the summer season, it is very crowded. (because it is near the city centre). There are many parking spaces available along the promenade.
Please note that dogs are not allowed on this beach in the summer season (early May to late September).

We are next to Odysséa exhibition centre (and the tourist office. We are looking to the south. This vast expanse of sand stretches to the beaches of Saint Hilaire, including that of the Demoiselles, that are a few hundred meters.
At the waterfront, a ramp allows access for people with reduced mobility. There are also a few bars on the beach.
