Our opinion on the Baigneuse Beach
St Jean de Monts’ Baigneuse Beach is located near the city centre around the Avenue de la Mer, along the seaside promenade. Very similar to Oiseaux Beach (and Demoiselles of St Hilaire), there are many activities in the summer season and it has a lifeguard station. It is also adapted for people with reduced mobility. On the right, beautiful view of St Jean de Monts’ pier.
This beach is located north of St Jean’s casino. The statue of “La Baigneuse” (the bather) in its fountain is a local landmark. There are several free carparks on the seafront.
