Our opinion on the Boisvinet Beach
Boisvinet Beach is located north of St Gilles Croix de Vie, along the Corniche near the pier. This sandy beach facing south is very popular with families with children. In summer, there are a beach club and a sailing center (at the end). It is also monitored and accessible to disabled people (with a provision of tiralo).
There are small discrete coves among the rocks (there are many rocks at low tide) towards St Hilaire de Riez. This is for those looking for peace and quiet (Pelle à Porteau Beach).
To get to this beach from the city center, take the D754 and turn left at the crossing (sign indicating the beach). The beach is 600 meters away. It is difficult to park along the road.

This is a nice sandy beach north of the main beach with south orientation, very popular with families in summer. There are a sailing school and beach huts (in blue) in the background.
The nearest beach from the port can also be enjoyed at low tide. In the background, one can see the center of St Gilles with the harbour entrance.
