Our opinion on the Saint Jean Harbor Beach
St Jean Harbor beach (Port Saint-Jean) is the continuation of Grande Beach (after the rocks), and here we find a little grey sand beach. Glued to the harbor, it is not generally crowded and is very familial. In season, it is possible to rent kayaks and chaises longues (near the rocks). Note that there is a great view of Bec de l'Aigle and Ile Verte.
You can pay to park around the Saint-Jean harbor.

Near the harbor, this little grey sand beach is generally less frequented than its neighbors.
To the left is the small harbor of Saint-Jean with a water sports center and a restaurant.
In the background, we have a nice view of Bec de l'Aigle and the harbor of La Ciotat. To the left (not visible in the photo) is Ile Verte.
A pedestrian promenade joins downtown La Ciotat with its different beaches.
