Capelan Calanque in Bandol is found to the west of downtown and of the harbor. This calanque, divided in two by a peninsula, the left beach is more comfortable with gravel and stones (rather large). The right side is very rocky. The peninsula in the middle brings a natural and original touch (access prohibited). The area is very nice with a lot of greenery.
This calanque is easily accessible by the coastal road. After Barry Beach, on the right, you'll see a tennis club. Park near here. The beach is behind to the right. We can easily join the coastal path from here. There are a few places to park along the road as well.
We would suggest bringing swimming shoes (and mask and snorkel).
