Grande Beach in La Ciotat is located between the esplanade Henri Langlois and Saint-Jean harbor. It is the fourth beach located downtown and is the easternmost of the four. This sand beach is mainly occupied by private beaches and restaurants. We find public spaces only on the extremities. After the dam, near Saint-Jean harbor, we find a little sand beach: Saint Jean. Space is limited.
Outside of summer, we can practice surfing and kitesurfing on this beach.
Parking is rather difficult in La Ciotat. We find a parking lot near Saint-Jean harbor.
