Our opinion on the Capucins Beach
Capucins Beach in La Ciotat extends from the harbor (near the casino) to Toche place. Two fine gravel coves are available with a first-aid station in the middle. We also find a beach volleyball court near Toche place with sports equipment. The general view is nice – we see Ile Verte and Bec de l'Aigle where we find a few calanques.
Note that the extremity of this beach (near the volleyball court) is an area where dogs are allowed.
It is difficult to park since this beach is close to downtown. It is advised to use public transport or come by foot.

This beach extends over two creeks from the Capucins harbor (near the casino) to Toche place (where we find a small beach for dogs).
From this beach, we have a nice view of Ile Verte and La Ciotat's harbor.
On the left is a nice promenade along the beach (and a beach volleyball court which cannot be seen from this photo). At the end of the beach is Toche place.
We are on the first cove of the little harbor of Capucins. In the background we see a water sports area.
On the right of the beach is a beach volleyball court.
This beach is made up of very fine gravel.
