Lumiere Beach in La Ciotat is one of the four big familial beaches in this area. Located to the east of downtown, near the esplanade Henri-Langlois and across from the Lumières alley, this beach has a first-aid station open during the summer and a handicap accessible ramp. This beach is non-smoking.
This beach is loved by families with children because there is a nice incline that provides shallow waters for swimming. We also find tourist attractions on the esplanade.
The only inconvenience is that it is hard to find parking during the summer. The closest parking lot is found near Saint-Jean harbor. We find a few parking places along the boulevard Beaurivage or in the roads perpendicular to it.
