Port d'Alon Cove in Saint Cyr sur Mer is located between Bandol and the port of Madrague in a protected environment. This is the first large cove before reaching the coves of Marseilles (also a cove in La Ciotat and Cassis). The beach is a mix of gravel and sand (there is sand in the water). Behind the beach, there is a lawn with pine trees, which provide shade. On the right, you arrive on a second less known and less crowded beach. On the left, via the trail, there are many rocks where you can lie down to sunbathe. By continuing along the coastal path, you can reach Galère Beach (caution, risk of falling rocks).
From the city centre of St-Cyr-sur-Mer, this cove is very well indicated. You must follow the directions to the Port of Alon. There is a car park (paid in summer), 100 meters from the beach (no stairs - easy access in two minutes). Please note that dogs are allowed provided they are on a leash.
