Liouquet Beach in La Ciotat is found at the east end of the seaside resort. It is the last beach located in the Bouches du Rhone Department, near the beaches of Var and notably the beaches of St-Cyr-sur-Mer. This beach is found below the corniche Liouquet and is made of stones and a few big rocks. Accessible by stairs from the corniche. Access from the right is prohibited because there is a risk of falling rocks. Only the side to the left of the stairs is authorized.
This part is narrow but agreeable because it is calm and we find shade.
To get here from downtown, follow directions for St-Cyr-sur-Mer by highway D559. Two kilometers before arriving at the St-Cyr harbor, take the corniche Liouquet on the right. Park as soon as you find a spot along the road as it is hard to find a place in the middle of summer. The beach is 400 meters to the right.
