Three valleys lead there and form an aber (or Ria), a feature of Brittany. The beautiful sandy beach of Herlin has formed at their joint mouth. Or rather two beaches, separated at high tide. It is a family-oriented beach, not crowded, and large enough for all leisure activities to be practiced without neighborhood problems. However, one has to be careful of the currents, which may prove dangerous. Fortunately, the beach is monitored from 1 to 7 pm. At the right time, there are wild mussels and barnacles.
Several paths lead to the beach. By car, on the highway across Bangor - Locmaria, turn right just before the menhir of Pierre Sainte-Anne towards Kervarigeon or the first road suitable for vehicles to the right, towards a car park with a hundred parking spaces. One will have to walk 400 m on foot, but it is a small price to pay to keep this beautiful beach wild.
