Yeyew Cove in Belle Ile en Mer (pronounced Yéyéo) is set between high cliffs, preferable to small and average tidal coefficients because there is not much left of the beach at high tide. Best before 6 pm because the cliff overshadows it in the late afternoon. This beach has its hard-core fans, deserving because one must go up and down the cliff in an acrobatic way. Like in Dotchot, rope makes it easier to go down. Facing south, it is rather hot. Turquoise waters will delight aesthetes and contemplative people. For sports, there is only water because the beach area (sand and small pebbles) is measured.
One must leave one’s car in the hamlet of Grand Village. Go through it and bypass the long barn by following the trail to a pine forest. Then go down a path winding through the pruneliers. Caution, it is slippery!
