Located in the heart of Herlin Cove, and just a few steps from the beach of the same name, Dotchot Beach in Belle Ile en Mer is one of those creeks that are small in size but big in charm. Located south but cramped between high cliffs, the shade threatens in the late afternoon. This is one of the two nudist beaches of Belle-Ile, but one can still see wear a swimming costume. The drawback is the access, which one goes through a very steep wall with a rope to reduce the difficulty. Sand and water are hotter than elsewhere, probably thanks to the cliffs keeping the heat, in addition to promoting the intimate aspect of the place.
To get there, it is not easy by car, but from the hamlet of Calastren, a path goes down, which is accessible to two-wheelers. Otherwise, by car, just outside the hamlet of Bordrouhant coming from Bangor, turn right at the beginning of the road stretching through a path. One can park in the meadow and then go down by the "goat trail".
