Our opinion on the Baluden Beach
In the village of Herlin, on the right side on the D25 towards Locmaria, one has to head towards the beach of the same name and then, very quickly, turn left on a perfectly straight path leading to a beautiful flower meadow and a dune creek sandwiched between two rocky points. Facing west, Baluden beach in Belle Ile en Mer is perfect in the second part of the day and especially at night when all the coves are immersed in shadow. Fine sand, which at high tides lead to Herlin Beach. The water temperature is pleasant thanks to the significant foreshore. One can come by car (small car park) but one will have to walk for a while to reach the beach below. This is not a problem for able-bodied people; the scenery is sumptuous.

Baluden is at the end of Herlin Cove: a large and a small creek. The descent unfortunately prevents disabled people from accessing it.
A entirely sandy beach, even at low tide.
The beach background is a dune area. It is a family-oriented beach, which is quickly empty after 7 pm. It's a shame because that's when the light is the most beautiful.
One can retreat behind this small creek.
It is crowded during the day (seen here from the tip of Grand Village).
The surrounding grassland is of an Irish beauty.
