Our opinion on the Stagnola Beach - Olmeta Beach
Pietrosella’s Stagnola Beach (or Olmeta Beach) is located north of the peninsula of Isolella. This beautiful sandy beach stretches for about 800 meters. There are some beach huts including the famous restaurant of Olmeta. The view of the Bay of Ajaccio is beautiful especially when the weather is clear.
To get to this beach from Porticcio, take D55 towards Coti-Chiavari. At the roundabout, you must take the first road on the right (which runs parallel to D55). Follow the road until you reach a dirt path, the beach is at the end. There are a few parking spaces beside the beach (which are quickly taken). You can also park on the road which provides access to the port of Ste Barbe (which is also difficult in the summer).

In the untamed area, we find Olmeta Beach hut. This Stagnole beach extends for several hundred meters towards the beach of Agosta.
On the left, you can reach the small port of Ste Barbe of Isolella by the beach. Some nice little coves.
This is the first beach of Isolella coming from Porticcio. This is a beautiful sandy beach which is not easy to find.
