North of Ruppione Beach, there are several small coves easily accessible from the road. The sand is pink making a complete contrast with the southern beaches. In the summer season, they are less crowded than the main beach and it is quite easy to find a place to enjoy the sun and relax. There are many rocks that give a more untamed and less touristy atmosphere. Swimming is possible because of the gently shelving beach. However, you must be careful when the sea is agitated (it is in a cove where you can practice surfing so the waves can be big rollers).
To get to this cove from Porticcio, take D55 in the direction south (Pietrosella). After the peninsula of Isolella, continue along the main road for 1 km. Just before the entrance sign to the village of Ruppione (and before the petrol station), on the right, we have access to the cove (sign that dogs are not allowed and that swimming is not supervised).
