Located in the gulf de Valinco in the south of Corsica, Porto Pollo is a little fishing harbor known for its pretty spots for submarine scuba diving and its superb fine sand beaches. The main beach in Porto Pollo extends all the way to the neighboring Olmeto-Plage.
Many paths leaving town go toward the Pointe de Porto-Pollo and in the Corsican countryside that hosts many great areas to discover. The trail Mare e Monte is one of the most agreeable, and passes through the village. The most beautiful beaches are Baracci, Taravo, Capu Laurosu and Partigliolo, but we can also go looking for some of the many wild creeks. The most famous is Cupabia which is just next to Coti-Chiavari, where we come by way of a paved path. Like in several villages around here, Porto Pollo is found on a prehistoric site being the occasion to discover some ancestral treasures! We can, for example go to the place called Basi in order to admire the menhirs and the other proposed activities such as kayak, bike, surf, jet ski and even wind surfing!
