Our opinion on the Argent Beach

The Argent beach of Coti-Chiavari (Silver beach) is in the continuity of the beach of Mare e Sole de Pietrosella. This area is more narrow than the beach of the neighboring municipality but still is very pleasant with a seaside covered by a beautiful pinewood. In summer, several huts settle with restaurants and mattress rentals. Bathing is gently sloping and the sand is extra-fine.

This beach is located at the south of Porticcio (at about 9 km). After the beach of Ruppione, continue on the D55 in direction of Coti-Chiavari. Before the big turn of the road of Mare e Sole (the beach is on the right), there is a big parking. We can also park after the turn, there are some parking places (next to the restaurants).

It is on the left side of this beach that we have the nicest view. In the background, there is Isolella.

On the right (after the hut – Area of Mare e Sole in the municipality of Pietrosella but the two beaches are mixed), there is an area with some rocks. Also possibility to rent sunbeds.

The beach is vast allowing everyone to easily find a place.

The beach ends with some rocks bringing a heavenly side. To note the shallowness makes it a nice beach with children.

The name of this beach comes from its fine and grey sand.

This beach is an extension of the beach of Mare e Sole of Pietrosella. Here is the cove of Verghia which offers a pleasant space to tan and to swim.

Like we can see on this photo, bathing is gently sloping. Very pleasant with children.

On the left there are several huts. The left end of the beach is more narrow and we can join the beach of Verghia by the coast (some difficult passages).
