Our opinion on the Ghiatone Beach
South of the village of Ghiatone we find a nice pink sandy beach that stretches for about 100 meters. This beach is not indicated and is little-known. It is especially popular with the residents of the nearby houses. Ideal for swimming with its gently shelving beach however the sea can be agitated. Ideal for those who do not like crowded beaches.
To get to this beach from Porticcio, follow D55 south. At the junction for Isolella, continue for 600 meters on D55 then park on the roadside. Next to the fire hydrant (just before the road on the left), there is a small road that overlooks the cove.
