In the village of Claouey, away from the main road of Cap Ferret, you will find Michelet Beach which offers a 250 meters’ beautiful stretch of sand. It is bordered by nice lawns. Unfortunately, as with all Arcachon Bay beaches, swimming is only possible at high tide.
To get to this beach from the centre of Lège-Cap-Ferret, head towards the Point of Cap Ferret on D106. In the village of Claouey, after the roundabout, pass in front of the Super-U, take “rue du Michelet” on the left. The beach is at the end of this street. Roadside parking.
