Our opinion on the Belisaire Beach
Near the Cap Ferret Point, at the pier of Belisaire, there is a long sandy beach that extends toward the Point. It is bordered by many restaurants and there is a view on the Dune of Pilat which is on the opposite shore of Arcachon Bay, just a short distance away. Unfortunately, the swimming area is next to the many oyster beds.
The main entrance is at the level of Cap Ferret, near the tourist office and the departure of the tourist train. Parking quite difficult in high season.

We are onthe left side of Cap Ferret’s beach (compared to Belisaire pier).
On the right,the beach is lined with numerous restaurants and cafes. We are here at high tide; the beach is narrow.
A big disadvantage, there are many oyster parks near the beach which make swimming rather difficult. In the distance, a nice view of the famous Dune of Pilat which is on the other side of the Arcachon Bay.
