North of Arcachon Bay, near Lège-Cap-Ferret, you will find Pastourelles Beach in the village of Claouey. This little known sandy beach is located away from the road. This uncrowded sandy beach covers 400 meters and overlooks the Bay of Arcachon. Swimming is only possible at high tide. At low tide, there are a few pools that will entertain the children.
To get to this beach from Lège-Cap-Ferret, take the D106 towards the Point of Cap Ferret. In the village of Claouey, at the round-about, turn left towards the campsite “Les Pastourelles. At the end of this road, there is a small alley on the left which leads directly to the beach. Parking is available along the main road.
