The beach of Laoute on the islands of Lerins (island of Sainte-Marguerite) is situated to the southwest of the island between the pointe du Dragon and the forest house. In this part of the island, the coast is rather rocky. Nonetheless we find a few small beaches for swimming (between zones with large pebblestones) with visitation rather limited (for shaded areas, it is recommended to arrive early in the morning in summer or on weekends). We recommend that you use shoes for swimming.
To arrive at this beach from the unloading stage, you can take the allee du Dragon and then the chemin de Ceinture which skirts the shoreline. The beach is easily recognized thanks to a leaning pine tree (see last photo).
