Our opinion on the Guérite Cove
The beach of the Guerite of the islands of Lerins is situated at the foot of the fort of Sainte-Merguerite. This small pebblestone cove with rock formations is found behind the restaurant of the Guerite. There is a beautiful view of the bay of Cannes, but the pristine environment that one searches on the islands is totally absent because of the presence of the restaurant.
To come to this beach, take the direction toward the fort. The access to the cove is on the right side and down staircases (sign for La Guerite).

This small pebblestone beach is situated at the foot of the fort of Ste. Marguerite next to the restaurant of la Guerite.
This beach is in large part composed of rock formations. A few narrow spaces to lay down a towel.
It is the only private beach on the islands of Lerins. We are at a distance of about 15 meters from the sea.
The restaurant of la Guerite is situated on the left and the beach is at the end on the left. Pleasant environment but it is a shame to come here to swim (we lose the pristine side).
