Our opinion on the Sainte Anne Beach
The beach of Sainte Anne on the Ile de Lerins (Island of Sainte Marguerite) is the first beach on the left upon arrival on the island. It is situated between the dock of the port and the pointe du Bateguier, along the nautical center. Composed mostly of pebblestones (as with all the beaches on the islands of Lerins), you'll find a few small portions of sand in the center. On the left end, you'll find a few trees which provide shade in summer. Visitation is high in summer.
To get to this beach, when you debark from the boat, turn to the right. The beach begins after the dock.

When you arrive on the island of Sainte Marguerite on the boat from Cannes, the beach of Ste. Anne is the first beach that you see on the right. In the background, there are beautiful pines that are found around the etang du Bateguier.
On the left, there is the hunting pavillion which was converted into a nautical base (courses in sailing and kayaking organised by the city of Cannes).
For the first portion (facing the nautical center), the beach is covered by large pebblestones.
In the center, there are a few portions of sand mixed with gravel.
From this beach there is a beautiful view of the bay of Cannes and on the left of the beginning of the Esterel.
At the end of this beach, there are some pines which provide shade.
