Our opinion on the Pierres Hautes Beach

The beach of the Pierres Hautes on the island of Ste. Marguerite (or beach of the Pierres Plates) is situated to the southeast of the island facing the island of St. Honorat. Here we find exclusively flat rock formations raised above sea level (whence the names of highs and of flats--swimming difficult). It is also the only zone where naturalism is permitted on the island (you can find a few zones hidden by the trees with slightly inclined).

The simplest way to access this beach is to traverse the island from the unloading stage on the allee Ste. Marguerite and then to follow the route du Centre until the allee des Myrtes. The beach is situated on the south side near the sign for "Les Pierres Hautes".
