Our opinion on the Cape Beach
Cape Beach in Frioul is located at the entrance of Pomègues Island (after the treatment plant in Ile de Frioul). Two paths provide access to this cove. The first one overlooks a rocky cove (not very comfortable and sea access a bit difficult). The second one provides access to a small gravel beach (very narrow). Interest is quite limited ...One should wear shoes while swimming.
To get to this cove from the port of Frioul, go towards Pomégues Island. Accesses are located after the treatment plant.

Cape cove is located at the entrance of Pomègues Island in Frioul and offers several small bathing areas.
In this photo, one can see the stairs reaching this cove. The village of Frioul is located at the port in the background (orange buildings).
There are two small coves. The first one is on the right of the photo. Very narrow, there are only rocks to lie on. The second one is on the left. It is a little wider with a mixture of rocks and gravel.
The first one gives access to the sea on rocks. It is not easy to put one’s towel down. Access to the sea is delicate enough.
There is a second small creek opposite. In this picture one can see in the distance the tower of Poméguet and the semaphore of Frioul.
The second one gives access to a small gravel beach.
