Our opinion on the Huile Calanque
Huile Cove on the island of Frioul (Pomègues Island) is at the top of the port of Pemègues on the opposite bank. This L-shaped cove does no offer any real beach but only fairly steep rocks. It is not easy to put one’s towel down! Moreover, one should wear shoes while swimming. It is not our favourite cove!
To get to this cove, take the direction of Pomègues Island. Go past the tower of Poméguet and turn right towards the cove (it is indicated by a small yellow sign).

This cove is on the same level as the aqua farm but on the opposite coast (north).
There are no beach but only rocks. On the left, the view of the semaphore is beautiful.
