Our opinion on the Barneville Beach
The beach of Barneville is the main beach of Barneville-Carteret. It stretches along the Maritime boulevard over several kilometres. In summer, it has a first-aid post at the end of the avenue of the Mer (at the level of the bet hold in the water) and is equipped to welcome the persons with reduced mobility. On right, nice view towards the Cape Carteret with the entrance of the harbour and its dam. The zone is edged by some dunes. On right, the beach stretches over several kilometres towards Portbail. In low tide, the sea leaves very far, bathing is impossible . They come then for the peach there on foot.
The parking is made along the Maritime boulevard. A coffee in front of the first-aid post is also found.

North side, this beach stretches up to the channel of access to the harbour of Carteret. In the background, there is the cape of Carteret with the headlight.
South side, the beach stretches over several kilometres towards Holy Jean de la Rivière. In low tide, the sea is very far. They come then for the peach there on foot.
Some dunes with villas in seafront located just a step away from the beach.
A slipway is located at the level of the first-aid post.
At the entrance of the beach, there is a coffee with a terrace ideally located.
The beach is supervised in July and August
The parking is directly made along the Maritime boulevard.
