Our opinion on the Tourelle Mazarin Beach - Callot island
Located on the back of the beach of Penn ar Waremm, that of the Mazarin turret is more exposed to the meteorological hazards, less intimate also. On the other hand it enjoys the same fineness of sand and the same type of rocks making small shelters. The turret Mazarin is a bitter, that is to say a landmark highlighted for the boats at sea. This part of the island is prohibited to motor vehicles, it is advisable to come by bike. But on foot it is good too. Do not forget the tide times for the return…Access from Carantec from Port street then by La Passe (only at low tide, parking for cars in the southern part of the island).

Wild beach surrounded by dunes. It allows all around beautiful walking tours.
Long enough beach that enjoys a little shade in the South.
You can walk far without leaving the sand ; it is appreciable.
On the other side of the bay, it is Roscoff. From here you can see ferries departing or arriving from Ireland or England.
A huge block of granite and an even bigger buttress serve as benchmarks for boats. Its two-color side is used to identify it from afar.
Also by bike. To advise to make the most of the beach and be back on time for the tide.
