Located in the North Finistere, on the “Côte de Sable”, the area of Cléder has retained its authenticity. You can discover its coastline by the GR34. The coast is rugged with some beaches and coves hidden among the rocks where you can discover the richness of Brittany. Near the beach of Roguennic (Amiets Beach), there is a 18th century “Corps de Guarde” (stone hut built on a rocky outcrop) used by customs officials to monitor the maritime traffic. There is also the Goémon furnace near the Amiets Beach and many stones carved in the old quarry (closed in the 60s).
There are many beaches in Cléder. Most are totally wild and swimming is not always recommended. That of Amiets is the best equipped and the most beautiful of the Finistère North. You can enjoy many activities. The little ones can have fun in a natural pond near the site of the Grenouillère.
Many points of interest like nearby Roscoff which is only 25 minutes away by car. We also like the beaches of Saint Pol de Léon. Not to mention a stopover on the island of Batz to discover the real Brittany.
