Beware, the last car park being passed, the upper two-thirds of the island of Callot are reserved for pedestrians and cyclists. It makes the ride that more pleasant. This beach of Park an Illiz is to the right of the narrowest part of the island, it almost sticks and turns its back on Park an Aod beach, like two angry parentheses. « Park an Illiz » means « the church field ». East facing, this beach is one of the most « complete » because it is overlooked by a charming hamlet with a delicate garden and its chapel Notre-Dame of Callot, stewn with rare villas, surrounded by dunes, all covered with sand…a real little happiness.
Access by the street of Port de Carantec by the path of Passe (car or on foot, 900 meters to cross between the mainland and the island, only possible at low tide). Then the beach is in the center, near the chapel. Watch out for tide times for the return…
