Tahiti Beach in Carantec - France

Difficult to access, no other benefits than those whose nature has endowed, this beach is a feast for the eyes. Wild Breton beach lovers will appreciate.

It can only be accessed by one of the coastal paths. But the panorama from above is worth.

It is a beach that allows long strolls coastline closer to the water. It is possible to reach the other beaches and go around the peninsula of Carantec by not too high tide.

From above we have a breathtaking view of the island of Louet, its lighthouse and, further on the Taureau castle, sentinel against the English at the entrance of the bay of Morlaix during all these centuries of disagreement not cordial for two sous.

Small niches between the rocks allow to shelter from the wind, from looks. Closer to the cliff we can aslo find some shade.

In the background, the islet of Roc’h Gored.

The shortest trail is steep but stabilized.

From the beach of Cosmeur, we can also reach that of Tahiti crossing the peninsula of Cosmeur and its moor. It is challenging but superb.

The parking is far enough from the beach and quickly congested in season.

Some magnificent villas dominate the site.
