Located close to Roscoff in northern Finistère, the town of Santec, attracts lovers of nature and white sand. The center of the village is about 800m from the first beach.
With 17km of coastline, there are many beaches in Santec. That of Dossen is the most family-friendly and the sportiest. It is used throughout the year, sometimes for swimming, sometimes for sand yachting.
At low tide, you can got to Sieck Island (it belongs to the municipality of Santec) where there is a small port that was used for sardine fishing (still used by amateur fishermen as mooring area).
There are many points of interest nearby. The beaches of Roscoff with its thalassotherapy center and its peninsula of Perharidi (the western part of the peninsula is in the municipality of Santec) are only a few kilometers. We acn also easily go by boat (shuttles from Roscoff) on the island of Batz where there are many beaches and wild coves. More to the east, the beaches of Saint Pol de Léon have also many amateurs.
