Our opinion on the Super South Beach
Super South Beach in Lacanau Océan is located to the south of this seaside destination on route du Lion. It is one of the more wild beaches in town. This zone does not have a lifeguard and like the other beaches in Gironde, swimming is dangerous due to strong currents. Dune space here is very developed and the beach goes as far as the eye can see. The zone closes to the parking lot is busier, but if you go toward the south there are less and less visitors. Nudism is practiced on this beach, but it is not an official nudist beach.
You can get here by car by following directions for “plages Sud”. We arrive at a parking lot close to the beach, but have to walk about ten minutes across a dune before reaching the beach. Access is difficult with strollers.

Super Sud Beach in Lacanau is the extension of the other beaches. It is difficult to differentiate between the different beaches in Lacanau. The further we leave from downtown, the less busy the beach.
