Our opinion on the Central Beach
Central Beach in Carcans is the closest beach to town (it is small, only a few roads). This large sand beach is the continuation of Sud Beach, but has a lifeguard in the summer. Access to this beach is rather simple since there is a path leading through the dunes. From downtown, near the entrance, we find a surf club.
There is no parking on this beach. Park at Sud Beach.

This is the most central beach in Carcans. However, you'll have to park at South Beach, located about a hundred meters away.
Access to this beach is rather simple. The dune is not high. To the left is a shower and to the right we can access Nord Beach which resembles this beach but is less frequented.
