Our opinion on the Montaut beach - Lake
Montaut Beach is found to the south of Lake Carcans, a few hundred meters from the hamlet of Maubuisson. This beautiful fine sand beach is bordered by an alley of pine trees and a pedestrian promenade. It is the continuation of Maubuisson Beach.
There are several places to rent paddle boats and boats along this beach. The environment is agreeable and the view is clear. Differing from the ocean, the water is calm and warm in this lake. However, in this area the water becomes deep quickly.
There are several parking places along the route.
