Our opinion on the Grande Escoure Beach
Grande Escoure Beach is located on Lake Lacanau. This sand beach has a lifeguard in the summer. Differing from the ocean beaches, this beach is perfect for children. To the right, we find a sailing club as well as a restaurant. The first-aid station is located on the left part of the beach.
Along the route are shade-giving trees. The only inconvenience is the nearby route. A few parking places are available.
To get here from Lacanau, follow directions for Lac de Lacanau from the route du Porge. When you arrive at the hamlet of La Grande Escoure, take a left onto allee du Club de Voile. The beach is at the end of this alley.

This beach is surrounded by trees. Look at the color of the sand.
The edge of this beach is very agreeable with sand banks and trees. However, the route is close, so be careful with children.
On the right side of this beach is the first-aid station and toilets.
