The beach of Sant’Ambroggio in Lumio is located at the entrance of the navy of the same name. Very touristic site, there is a nice fine sand cord on the right. Bathing is gently sloping. However, we are at the entrance of the port (back and forth permanent of boats in summer), which in our opinion is a pity. There are calmer beaches nearby. Only if your accommodation is nearby.
To get to this marina from Lumio, take the N197 for 3 kms in direction of Bastia and of Ile Rousse then turn left in direction of Marina de Sant Ambroggio (indicated by a big sign). A road goes down to the seaside. The beach is situated on the right of the port. There is a free parking on the heights.
