Our opinion on the Samzun Beach

At the west end, a small rocky advance separates Samzun Beach in Locmaria from Grand Sables, more famous. At high tide, they are distinct. Water is a little less clear than in Grands Sables, and carries a little more seaweed, sand is a little coarser, but it has a much more interesting biodiversity, thanks to some rock piles where the pools will delight young fishermen on foot: shellfish, crabs and small fish abound there. The black-headed gulls also, from mid-summer to spring, before they go to breed on the continent. One can also see herring gulls, brown and sailor, great plovers, etc. It is also a shelter for dinghies and boat tenders moored in the distance. On the other hand, one is not protected from the sun, which floods the space all day, except in small coves on the right, which one can reach at low tide.
