Porh Penhoet Cove in Sauzon is one of the most beautiful coves on the northern coast of Belle-Ile, and also the least well known because its blessed insulation is surely due to the attractiveness of the neighbouring site of Poulains. There, after a short walk, one will find a lovely valley, crystal clear water and an atmosphere of the end of the world. To access it, park in the car park of Poulains after Sarah’s Farm (Bernhardt). Caution, a misrepresentation on the Internet plans puts Porh Penhoet further south than it actually is. Northeast of the car park, the Palud trail continues through a path going down on the right into the valley of Penhoet (literally "the tip of the wood"). In the evening, shade can be a problem, unless one goes up a little on the rocks to get a few extra minutes of sunshine. There is a free park 300 meters away with restaurants.
